ETHEL FRENCH

Ethel French, 99, of Farmington, died Tuesday, April 26, 1983 at 4:10 p.m. at Van Buren County Memorial Hospital, Keosauqua.

The daughter of Frank and Nora Alfrey McClintock, she was born September 28, 1883 at Farmington.

She married William S. French, November 24, 1906 at Farmington. She was a life resident of Farmington and a member of the Farmington Baptist Church.

She is survived by one son, Ivan W. French of Kansas City, Missouri; one daughter, Shirley Anderson of Peoria, Illinois; one niece, Blythe Cleave Lamborn of Farmington; and three grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, one sister, and one daughter in infancy.

The funeral was held Friday, April 29, at 1 p.m. in the Hofbauer Funeral Home, Farmington. Pastor Gary Worsham officiated. Burial was in Greenglade Cemetery, Farmington.
