WILDA M. MILLER

Wilda Mae Miller, daughter of Robert and Virginia Bonnett Buckmaster, was born February 24, 1894 at Kilbourn and departed this life Monday, June 13, 1983 at Van Buren Good Samaritan Center in Keosauqua at the age of 89.

She moved to Colorado while in high school, completed her education and taught school there.

On December 8, 1914 she married Max S. Miller in Omaha, Nebraska. They moved to their farm one mile south of Mt. Zion which has been their home ever since.

Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Maxine Sinclair of Paonia, Colorado; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A son, Bruce Miller of Lawrenceberg, Indiana, three brothers and a sister preceded her in death. Mrs. Miller was a long-time member of the Mount Zion Presbyterian Church and Ladies Aid Society and the Daughters of the American Revolution at Keosauqua.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 15, 1983 at 1:30 p.m. in the Mt. Zion Presbyterian Church, north of Keosauqua, with Rev. Charles McCracken officiating. Interment was in Forbes Cemetery near the church. Pedrick Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Memorials to the Keosauqua Senior Citizens Center may be left at the funeral home.
