Donald D. Davis
Donald D. Davis, 49, of Keota died Thursday, March 24, 1983 after a lingering illness.
The funeral was held Saturday at 2:30 p.m., at the Powell Funeral Home in Keota with the Rev. Eugene Black in charge. Burial was at the Keota Cemetery.
Mr. Davis was born in Lee County Jan. 6, 1934, a son of Harry Charles and Mary B. Farmer Davis. He married Luella Lay in Kahoka, Mo., March 12, 1961. He was a trucker in Lee County until 1961 when he moved to Keota.
He is survived by his wife; one son, Larry of Keota; one step-daughter, Mrs. Art (Arlene) Deao of Stockport; two grandsons, one granddaughter; four sisters, Dorothy of Cantril, Mrs. Leonard (Shirley) Besick of Douds; Mrs. Ward (Eloris) Gregory of Keosauqua; Mrs. Richard (Jean) Dawson of Eolia, Mo.; one brother, Darrell of Fairfield; 12 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents and an infant brother.
