GEORGE L. FIXSAL

George L. Fixsal, 71, Indianapolis, Indiana, died Saturday, February 12, 1983, in Roudebush Cold Springs Road Veterans Hospital.

he was born at Farmington, Iowa, son of George and Jessie Fixsal. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He worked for the Chevrolet Motor Division of General Motors Corporation for 25 years and retired in 1974. He was a member of the United Auto Workers Local 23, a member of the Disabled American Veterans and a member of Garfield Park United Church of Christ.

Services were held February 15 at Flanner and Buchanan High School Road Mortuary.

Survivors include his wife Reva, daughter, Rita Jo, two sisters, Mrs. Ray Duncan of Keosauqua and Hillis Luder of Plymouth, Illinois. His parents, two brothers and a sister preceded him in death.
