SARAH F. GARRETT

Sarah Frances Garrett, daughter of James and Mary McQuitty Garrett, was born May 4, 1897 in Keosauqua and departed this life Thursday, March 31, 1983 at Van Buren Good Samaritan Center in Keosauqua at the age of 85. She lived her entire life in Keosauqua.

She was employed in the homes of several Keosauqua families over the years. In 1967 she retired due to ill health after working 17 years in the home of Dr. and Mrs. James T. Worrell.

Funeral services were held Monday, April 4, 1983 at 1 p.m. in the Keosauqua Congregational Church with Dr. E. Brank Fulton officiating. Interment was in Purdom Cemetery. Pedrick Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

A memorial was established for the Keosauqua Public Library.
