Annadale Ponte, 92, former Farmington area resident, died Friday, February 18, 1983, at Park West Hospital, Knoxville, Tennessee. Her dearth was caused by a heart attack during surgery for a broken hip which occurred the day before.
She was born October 10, 1890, near Revere in Clark County, Missouri. Her husband of 42 years, Roy, died in 1965. Following his death, Annadale continued to live in Farmington until 1974 when she moved to Knoxville where she lived with her son, Stanley and daughter-in-law, Mary. She is survived by her son, one grandson, Michael of Irving, Texas, and great-granddaughters, Leslie and Jamie Ponte.
Graveside rites were held Tuesday, February 22, 1983, at 1 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Keokuk, with Rev. A.H. Bauch of United Church of Christ officiating. Greaves Mortuary of Keokuk was in charge of arrangements.
