C. DELBERT SCULL

C. Delbert Scull, 74, of 2830 Winegard Drive, Burlington, died Wednesday, December 15, 1982, at University Hospitals, Iowa City.

He was born February 26, 1908, at Chariton to Samuel and Gwendolyn Humphries School. He married Helen Noss, November 1, 1933.

He was in the grocery business with his father in Burlington and later moved to Van Buren County, where he retired as county auditor. He was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church and Masonic orders.

Surviving: two daughters, Mrs. Peggy Rutherford, Burlington, and Mrs. Donna Wheeler, Norwalk; two brothers, Kenneth, Prescott, Arizona and William, San Antonio, Texas; three sisters, Mrs. Lois Worthington, Minneapolis, Minnesota, Mrs. Elinor Lowman, Sylacauga, Alabama, and Mrs. Lucille Schuff, Chargrin Falls, Ohio; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 18, at Asbury United Methodist Church with the Rev. Harold Werley officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery. Sheagren Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
