Ola Mathews

Ola Mathews, 74, died Dec. 10, 1982 at 6:37 p.m. in Grim smith Hospital in Kirksville, Mo.

She was born July 8, 1908, at Downing, Mo., to Walter and Eva Gooden McVey. She was retired from Knock On Wood Industries at Kirksville with 14 years service. She had lived in Bloomfield and Milton most of her life. She married Ollie Mathews on April 16, 1928, at Lancaster, Mo.

Survivors: her husband; daughter Marie Hubbartt of Bloomfield; sons Junior Glen of Lincoln, neb., and Raymond of Bloomfield; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Services: 2 p.m. tuesday, Dec. 14, 1982 at Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield, the Rev. Marvin Martin officiating. Burial: IOOF Cemetery, Bloomfield.

Memorial: Dunnville Baptist Church or the American Diabetes Association.
