Glenn Kennedy

Glen Samuel Kennedy, 74, of Memphis, Mo., formerly of Clark County, died Friday, Sept. 10, 1982 at 6:10 p.m. at the Scotland County Memorial Hospital.

The son of Charles and Mary Inez Brewster Kennedy, he was born at Acosta on Dec. 5, 1907.

He was a retired farmer and never married.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Charlie (Doris) Parish of Arbela, Mo. and Mrs. Mary Lou Broomhail of Kahoka, Mo., nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Howard Kennedy.

Services were Monday, Sept. 13, 1982 at 2 p.m. at Shaffer and Sons Funeral home with the Rev. Carl Martin officiating. Burial was in Acosto Cemetery.

Organist was Wanda Short and singers were Edna Buckallew and Dorothy Toops.

Pallbearers were James Havens, Eddie Merrick, Wayne Meinhardt, Danny Parish, Bob Heald and Brian Slocum.

Arrangements by Shaffer and Sons Funeral Home.

The family would like to thank everyone for what they did. It really meant a lot.
