FRANCES PEARL KERR

Frances Pearl Kerr, 84, Parkview Care Center, Fairfield, died at 10:30 p.m. Saturday, June 5, 1982.

She was born April 14, 1898, in Van Buren County to Charles and Mina Kimmel Hootman. She married Glen Kerr October 30, 1918, in Ottumwa. He died in 1958.

She lived in Fairfield since 1969. She and her husband farmed between Keosauqua and Douds and later moved to Libertyville and Milton. She was of the Methodist faith.

Survivors: two sons, Kenneth, Keosauqua, Dale, Fairfield; one daughter, Esther Kerr, Reno, Nevada; two brothers, Kenneth and Fred Hootman, both of Fairfield; two sisters, Georgia Bagby, Fairfield, Myrtle France, Ollie; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 8, at the Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua with the Rev. Donald Hickman officiating. Burial was in Pittsburg Cemetery. Memorial may be left at the funeral home.
