HAZELLE J. SCHULZ

Hazelle J. Schulz, age 86, passed away Friday night, May 7, at the Van Buren County Memorial Hospital. Her death occurred just one day after her husband.

She was born January 20, 1896, at Stockport, the daughter of LeRoy and Mary Jane Johnson Fickel. She was married October 20, 1914 at Stockport to John Schulz, who preceded her in death by one day.

Survived by a son, Donald Schulz of Tucson, Arizona, six daughters, Wanda Adams, Florida, Joan Wolf of New London, Melba Morrow of Stockport, Barbara Pettyjohn and Shirley Criswell, both of El Paso, Texas, Karen Burns of Toledo, Ohio, 23 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons and a daughter.

Mrs. Schultz was a member of the Methodist Church and Royal Neighbors of Stockport.

Funeral services were held Monday, May 10 at the Stockport United Methodist Church with Rev. Richard David Kennedy and Rev. Richard Devore officiating. Interment was in Spencer Cemetery.

Memorials to the Stockport Senior Citizens may be left at the Burch Funeral Home in Birmingham.
