LLOYD L. LAYMAN

Lloyd L. Layman, son of Allen and Olive Davis Layman, was born June 25, 1897 in Henry County and departed this life Thursday, April 15, 1982 at Burlington Medical Center in Burlington at the age of 84. He lived many years in Fairfield and in recent years, divided his time between the farm south-west of Farmington and the home of his sister in Burlington.

Surviving are two sisters, Olive Spees of Selma and Ruth Cockrell of Burlington.

He was preceded in death by four brothers, Frank in infancy, and Earl, Willie and Carroll.

Funeral services were held Monday, April 19, 1982 at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with Rev. David Kennedy officiating. Interment was in Maple Hill Cemetery at Birmingham.
