GLORY GILBERT

A funeral for Glory Gilbert, 83, of Farmington, who died Friday morning in Van Buren County Memorial Hospital at Keosauqua, was held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Hofbauer Funeral Home, Farmington, with the Rev. Gary Worsham officiating. Burial was in Greenglade Cemetery, Farmington.

She was born December 20, 1898 at Birmingham, Iowa, the daughter of George and Susanna Wiley ford. She married Samuel H. Gilbert in 1917.

She was a resident of Farmington for 35 years.

Survivors include sons Hazen G. of Fort Madison, Paul of Palmyra, Missouri, and Gilford of Farmington; a daughter, Mrs. Dora Beth Fulton of Palmyra; a sister, Eulalie Walraven of Bloomfield; 11 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband.
