Mrs. Alpha Goode Singleton died at 10 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 11, 1954 in Sacred Heart hospital in Fort Madison, after a long, serious illness.

She was born in Farmington on August 14, 1877, the daughter of Alfred and Sybba Pratt Goode.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Singleton, and a son, William, Jr.

Surviving is one daughter, Louise and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Anna Kessler both of Farminton.

Funeral services were held Saturday at 9 a.m., from St. Boniface church with interment in Greenglade cemetery.
