FRED C. KUNZMAN

Fred C. Kunzman, son of Fred and Mary Thum Kunzman, was born December 1, 1906, near Leando and departed this life Tuesday, January 26, 1982, at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield, at the age of 75.

He spent his life farming near Selma until entering Nelson Nursing Home in Fairfield in 1979. For nearly half a century he operated the same farm, tilling the soil and caring for his livestock as a true husbandman.

Surviving are a son, Richard and his wife Shirlene of Selma; two daughters, Ritzanna Seaton and her husband Duane of Leavenworth, Kansas and Roselea Laubach and her husband Bruce of Birmingham. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Neal and Sherri Kunzman, Darrell, Lowell, Russell and Carol Seaton and Teresa Laubach; a brother, Martin Kunzman of Douds.

Funeral services were held Friday, January 29, 1982 at 1:30 p.m. at Pedrick Funeral Home in Douds, with Rev. David Kennedy officiating. Interment was in the Eldon Cemetery. A memorial was established for the Diabetes Association, or memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
