LYDIA ANN GENTNER

Lydia Ann Gentner, 92, of Farmington, died Saturday, January 16, at 2 p.m. at her home.

The daughter of Hiram and Alice Delance Hawkins, she was born August 4, 1889 at Woodbine, Iowa.

She married William Henry Gentner of February 15, 1912 at Chicago, Illinois. He died June 2, 1962.

She was a millner and for many years was owner-operator of a general merchandise store in Farmington.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church, and was a past matron of Mizpah chapter No. 24 Order of Eastern Star, and was a member of the Farmington Cemetery Association.

Her only survivors are nephews and nieces.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her parents, one brother and three sisters.

The funeral was held on Tuesday, January 19, at 1:30 p.m. in the Hofbauer Funeral Home, Farmington. The Rev. Jim Rozendaal officiated. Burial was in Greenglade cemetery, Farmington. Memorials to the Cemetery Association were left at the funeral home.
