DWIGHT LYMAN HOOTMAN

Dwight L. Hootman was born May 1904 to Todd and Nelle Nelson Hootman near Stockport, Iowa.

He married Lois Harnes(s) on July 3, 1925 at Santa Rosa, Calif. and shared 52 years of his life with her. A son, Joseph Todd was born to them January 23, 1931.

Dwight was a pharmaceutics for Eli Lilly Co. for many years, retiring in 1968.

He married Littie Gasing on November 23, 1977. He had been in poor health for several years.

He passed away in Oakland Co. Hospital at 3:30 A.M. on Saturday, August 25, 1981. Interment at Monteney Co. Aug. 28 at 2 p.m.

He is survived by his son, Joe, daughter-in-law Anne and their four daughters, Janet Benzing, Susan Portis, Ruth and Ellen Hootman and his sister, Gwendolyn Fluno of San Diego, Calif.
