EVA ALVEY

Eva Alvey, daughter of Franklin and Elizabeth Clinkenbeard Alvey, was born July 13, 1880, in Van Buren County and departed this life Sunday January 4, 1981 at Keokuk Convalescent Center in Keokuk at the age of 100.

Surviving are two half sisters, Lucille Bray, San Jacinto, California, and Mabel Roper, Salida, California.

Miss Alvey lived in the Stockport area, and spent much of her life in the Van Buren County Care Facility near Keosauqua.

Graveside service were held Tuesday, January 6, 1981 at 11 a.m. at Spencer Cemetery near Stockport, with Rev. Richard DeVore officiating. Arrangements were in charge of Pedrick Funeral Home.
