INES M. DOUD

Ines M. Doud, daughter of C. Edward and Mary Hollen Duffield, was born January 7, 1888 in Van Buren County near Pittsburg, and departed this life Sunday, January 11, 1981, at Van Buren County Memorial Hospital in Keosauqua at the age of 93.

With the exception of fifteen years in Davis County her life was spent in the same neighborhood.

She was married to Owen Doud, who preceded her in death in 1951. An infant brother and a son, Herbert, also preceded her in death.

Remaining to cherish her memory are a daughter, Margaret Davis of Keosauqua, three sons, Carl and Ralph of Keosauqua and Kenneth of Moravia, ten grandchildren. Also surviving are a sister, Edith McIntosh and a brother, James Duffield, both of Keosauqua.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 13, 1981, at 1:30 p.m. at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua with Rev. Louise Knupp officiating. Mrs. Harold Jamison was the soloist and Mrs. Jay Williams the organist. Grandsons, Barney Murphy and Angelo, Tony, Dennis, Richard and Douglas Doud serves as pallbearers. Interment was in Pittsburg Cemetery.
