MAMIE TODD

Mamie Todd, 72, of Mt. Sterling, died at 4:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, 1981 in Van Buren county Memorial Hospital, Keosauqua.

She was born July 24, 1908 in Louisiana, the daughter of Azariah and Ellen Willis Strother.

She married Albert Todd in Pineville, La. in December, 1945.

She and her husband lived in Farmington and Mt. Sterling most of their married lives. She was a member of the Farmington Assembly of God church.

Survivors include her husband; two brothers, Henry and Alvin Strother, both of Shreveport, La.; and four sisters - Mrs. Bea Sale of Houston, Texas; Margaret Choate of New Orleans, La., Estelle Coker and Louana Cole, both of Oakdale, La.

The funeral was held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in the Farmington Assembly of God church. The Rev. Clyde Lint officiated. Burial was in Greenglade cemetery, Farmington.

Visitation was Monday night in the Hofbauer Funeral Home, Farmington.
