OKLA STOTTS

Okla B. Stotts, 89, of Farmington, died Sunday June 28, at 2:40 p.m. in the Van Buren County Memorial hospital, Keosauqua.

She was born Feb. 12, 1892 in Kansas the daughter of William and Mattie Pryor Helm.

She married Elmer Stotts on Nov. 3, 1909 at Macon, Mo. and was a long-time resident of Farmington.

Surviving are two sons, Kenneth Stotts, of Ft. Madison and Wallace Stotts of Keosauqua; four daughters, Ruth Smelser of Lancaster, Wisc., Charlotte Hufford, Farmington, Pauline Nelson of Rockford, Ill, and Aileen Huff of Ft. Madison; one brother, Charlie Helm of Springfield, (ill.) 22 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, two sons and one daughter.

The funeral was held on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in the Hofbauer Funeral Home, Farmington. The Rev. Jim Rozendaal officiated. Burial was in Greenglade cemetery, Farmington. The family received friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday.
