BYRON SLEE

Byron Slee, 74, Chicago, Ill. a former resident of Farmingto died at 4:30 a.m. Thursday April 30, in Chicago.

He was born Jan. 10, 1907, in Farmington and was a retired bus driver in Chicago.

On Jan. 25, 1930 he married Madeline Melton, who preceded him in death.

Survivors include five children and several grandchildren all of Chicago; a brother, William Hilton Slee of West Point; four sisters, Mable Dodds, Fairfield, Esther Hopp Fargo, N.D., and Dorothy Wilkins and Marjorie Hooten, both of Fort Madison.

Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister. His parents were Mr. and Mrs. Grant Slee.

Funeral services were Monday at the Grein Funeral Home, 2114 West Irving Park Road, Chicago. Burial will be in Chicago.
