WELTHA ROTH

Weltha M. Roth, 80, of 1415 Second Ave. S.E., Cedar Rapids, died at home the afternoon the afternoon of July 18, 1981.

She was born April 13, 1901, in Milton to William and Alice Groves Gibson. She married Julian A. Roth, January 24, 1923, in Keosauqua. He died June 2, 1954. A Cedar Rapids resident for 25 years, she previously lived at Fairfield and Troy. She was a member of St. Pauls Methodist Church in Cedar Rapids.

Survivors: a daughter, Verla I. Manley of Cedar Rapids; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Violet Styre of Ottumwa.

Services was held Tuesday July 21, at 11 a.m. at the Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, the Rev. Eugene Hancock of her church in Cedar Rapids officiating. Burial: Evergreen Cemetery.
