ROY R. MOUNTS

Roy R. Mounts, 77, former Birmingham merchant passed away Tuesday, May 12, 1981, at the Jefferson County Hospital where he had bee a patient for 4 days.

He was born November 24, 1903, at Salem, Indiana, the son of Thomas B. and Ida Tadlock Mounts. He was married on May 30, 1941 to Edith Campbell who survives. Also surviving are a son, Marvin Mounts, of Gibson City, Ill.; and a sister, Blanche Mounts, of Salem, Indiana.

Mr. Mounts was of the Presbyterian faith and had operated a cream and wool buying station in Birmingham before moving to a farm.

Funeral services were held Friday, May 15, 1981 at the Burch Funeral Home in Birmingham with interment in Maple Hill Cemetery.
