MARY E. McGREW

Mary E. McGrew daughter of John and Jerusha Hardon was born Feb. 28, 1892 in Tama County and departed this life Tuesday, February 24, 1981, at Van Buren County Memorial Hospital in Keosauqua at the age of 88.

Most of her life was spent in Keosauqua.

On January 22, 1925, she married George W. McGrew, who died in 1951.

Since 1964 she had made her home with the Mark McCoy family.

Surviving are a brother, Linn Hardon, Hatch, N.M., several nieces and nephews and friends.

She was a member of the Keosauqua United Methodist Church.

Funeral services were held on Friday, February 17, 1981 at 10 A.M. at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with Rev. Paul Knupp officiating. Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery, Fairfield.
