MRS. BLANCHE JOHNSTON

Mrs. Blanche Johnston, age ?6, former Birmingham and Stockport resident, passed away Saturday, April 18 at Branson, Mo.

She was born July 8, 1881 at West Point, Iowa, the daughter of Alvin S. and Catherine Hiatt. She married Curt Johnston, who preceded her in death on April 14, 1959.

She is survived by a son Wayne Johnston of Franklin, Ind., and a daughter Mrs. Ruth Elaine Talbert of Branson, Mo.; eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter.

Mrs. Johnston was a member of the Birmingham Presbyterian Church.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 22, at the Burch Funeral Home in Birmingham with the Rev. David R. Kennedy officiating. Interment was in Maple Hill Cemetery.
