DONALD E. HUFFMAN

Donald E. Huffman, son of Wilbert an Lucille Roberts Huffman, was born September 20, 1931, in Keosauqua and departed this life Sunday, December 13, 1981, at Van Buren County Memorial Hospital in Keosauqua at the age of 50.

He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1950 until 1961, including 18 months' service in Korea. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Keosauqua.

Remaining to cherish his memory are his mother, Lucille Schenk of Keosauqua, two daughters, Vicki Curtis and Brenda Abbott, both of Carbondale, Illinois, a sister, Betty Arnold of Keosauqua, four brothers, Jack of Florida, Jerry of Chicago and Jim and Joe, both of Keosauqua, other relatives.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 15, 1981, at 10:30 a.m. at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with Rev. Louise Knupp officiating. Pallbearers were Tony and Troy Huffman, Randy Arnold, John Arnold, Earl Arnold, Barney Murphy. Interment was in Fellows Cemetery.
