JESSE FRANKLIN CAVITT

Jesse Franklin Cavitt was born July 24, 1919, at the home of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Roush, at Lebanon, Iowa, and died March 21, 1924, aged 4 years, 8 months and 21 days. His sunny disposition made him a favorite among all who knew him.

While at play Thursday, March 20th, he was seriously injured by a horse. He was taken to the hospital at Keokuk for treatment and all that loving hands and medical skill could do, was done for him. But his precious life could not be restored for God had called him for his own. Lo! the voice of an Angel was heard: "Suffer little children to come unto me and forbid them not, for, of such is the Kingdom of Heaven." Little Franklin answered the call. The Angel clasped him in his arms and his spirit was quietly carried from earth to Heaven.

He leaves to mourn his death the mother, the father, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Cavitt; a baby brother, John William; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Roush of Lebanon, and Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Cavitt of Keosauqua, and many other relatives and friends.
