O. W. CREATH

O. W. Creath, son of John W. and Josephine Creath, was born near Cantril May 1, 1863, and departed this life Dec. 5, 1928, age 65 years, 7 months and 4 days.

On Sept. 8, 1886, he was married to Mattie Reed, to which union two children were born--Clara Mabel Jones, who preceded him in death Nov. 14, 1924, and Chauncy Lee Creath of Cantril.

Besides his wife, Mrs. Mattie Creath, he leaves to mourn one sister, Mrs. Jennie Teter of Moberly, Mo., and five grandchildren. Mr. Creath joined the M. E. church early in life and lived a consistent Christian life until the end.

He was a member of the I. O. O. F., Rebekah and Modern Woodmen of America lodges.
