Mrs. Gay Morgan

Bethel Georgia Morgan, age 60, died January 1, 1962 at 10:20 p.m. at the Davis county hospital where she had been taken on Sunday, December 31. She was born October 2, 1901 at Goodland, Indiana, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Erzinger. The family moved to Milton when Bethel was 18. She was a member of the Milton Christian church, the PEO Sisterhood, Top Hat Club and the American Legion Auxiliary. She was post office clerk for 18 years, serving at the time of her death.

She was married to Guy Morgan, August 10, 1926. Besides her husband, she is survived by her father, George Erzinger of Ottumwa, a sister, Mrs. Dorothy Sell of Ottumwa, three brothers, Monte Erzinger of Ottumwa, Lee Erzinger of Davenport and Clair Erzinger of Ames and three nieces.

Funeral services were held January4, at 1:00 p.m. with Lowell Paulson, Minister of the church, and Ray Pierson, a former Minister, officiating. Burial was at Sunnyside cemetery, the body was at the Wellborn funeral home.
