HAROLD L. MITCHELL

Harold L. Mitchell, 68, of 1211 Gurley, was dead on arrival at Ottumwa Hospital Tuesday, Feb. 1 at 6:15 a.m. He was a 1965 retiree of the John Deere Ottumwa Works.

He was born in Davis County, March 21, 1903, the son of Delbert and Laura Lohr Mitchell. He had lived in Ottumwa since 1927. He was a member of the Christian Church at Milton.

He was married to Ruth Kinsinger in 1927 in Bloomfield. She survives. Also surviving is one daughter, Ramona Bradley of Burlington; two grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Martena Eslinger of Port Townsend, Wash., and Hazel Covington of Dunlap, Ill. He was preceded in death by one son and one sister.

Funeral services were held on Thursday p.m. at the Jay Funeral Home in Ottumwa with burial in Sunnyside Cemetery in Milton.
