MAYME MARSHALL

Mayme Pauline Marshall, 86, of River Hills Care Center in Keokuk and formerly of Milton died at 2:40 p.m. April 3, 1992, at the Keokuk hospital.

She was born Feb, 14, 1906, in Milton to Samuel P. and Etta Mae Cassatt Evans. She married James Ed Marshall on Oct. 2, 1927, in Milton; he died Dec. 23, 1968.

She was a 1923 graduate of Milton High School and a charter member of Legion Auxiliary, Russell Strait Post 483, and longtime member of Milton Christian Church.

She is survived by a brother, John W. Evans of Keokuk.

She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.

The service was held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 6, 1992 at Milton Christian Church, The Rev. Ed Pool officiating. Burial was in Sunnyside Cemetery in Milton.

Memorials may be made to Milton Christian Church.

Priester Funeral Home, Bloomfield, was in charge of arrangements.
