G.T. Lunsford

George Lunsford (G.T) Lunsford, 508 West Jefferson, Bloomfield, died at his home this morning.

He was the son of Alfred and Biantha York Lunsford and was born in Davis County on May 3, 1893. He was a member of the Bloomfield Christian Church.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ida Belle, in 1963, two sisters and one brother.

On Jan. 1, 1965, he married Ethylena Barnett York. She survives.

Also surviving are three daughters, Nola Stookesberry of Mount Pleasant, Carrie Kratzer of Bloomfield and LaVeta Kurtz of Des Moines; one step-daughter, Coleen Graves of Bloomfield; one step-son, Robert York of Agency; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Eunice Veatch of Savannah and Mae Swindler of Bloomfield.

Funeral services are pending at the Priester Funeral Chapel.
