C.T. (Short) LONG

Charles T. (Short) Long, 67, died Thursday, April 17 at 7:20 p.m. at Davis County Hospital in Bloomfield.

He was born in Pierre, S.C., Dec. 31, 1907, to William M. and Louie Adams Long. A Davis County resident until moving to Van Buren County 20 years ago he was a farmer.

Surviving are Mrs. Opal Jennings of Cantril and Mrs. Arline Mincks of Drakesville; four grandchildren; two sisters, Goldie McDaniel of Wickenburg, Ariz., and Mrs. Ruby Wintermote of Burlington; and one brother, Milo of Bloomfield.

He was preceded in death by one brother.

The service was Sunday, Apr. 20 at 2 p.m. at Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with the Rev. Tom Brunk officiating. Burial was in I.O.O.F. Cemetery at Bloomfield.

A memorial has been established payable to the heart fund.
