Nora Ellen Kinney

Nora Ellen Turner, daughter of M.B. Turner and Mary Francis Reed, was born October 16, 1890, in Schuyler County, Mo., and died March 18, 1975, at the Davis County Hospital.

She was married to Fredrick Hilman Kinney April 10, 1912, at the Barker Church Parsonage. To this union one son was born.

They made their home in the Barker community and spent all of their married life there with the exception of the last few years spent in Downing, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Tom, Earl and Charles Turner and her husband, Fred, who died three weeks ago.

Surviving are he son, Ray and wife, Nelda, one granddaughter, Carol Sayre and husband, Joe, one grandson, Clarence Ray Kinney and wife, Rosalie, seven great-grandchildren, Randy Sandra Kay, Danny and Ricky Sayre, Gerald Ray, Catherine Marie and Phillip Allen Kinney, one sister, Clara Cossel and husband, Alpha of Pueblo, Colo., one sister-in-law, Mrs. Earl Turner of Tulsa, Okla., and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Kinney accepted Christ as her Saviour at an early age and united with the Barker United Brethren Church, now Barker United Methodist Church. She and her late husband were active and faithful members as long as their health permitted.

She will be sadly missed by all who knew her, because she was always (missing) . . .
