ERNEST E. KERKOVE

Ernest E. Kerkove, 75, of Milton died January 3, 1982 at Winfield Care Center.

He was born September 17, 1906, in Keokuk County Edward and Addie Bair Kerkove. He was a Veteran of World War II, a farmer and a trucker. His wife, Geneva, died in 1975.

Survivors include a son, Jerald of New London; five grandchildren and sisters Cora Koch of Cantril and Grace Hall of Amarillo, Texas.

Services were held Thursday, January 7, 1982 at 2:00 P.M. at the Grace United Methodist Church, Milton with the Rev. Carl Wilson officiating with Military Rites by the Russell-Strait American Legion Post.

Interment was at the Sunnyside Cemetery, Milton.

Arrangements were made by The Priester Funeral Chapels, Milton and Bloomfield.
