Jesse Renfro Jolley

Jesse Renfro Jolley, 85, of San Diego, Calif. a former resident of Milton, died Jan. 28, 1971 at the Knollwood Convalescent Hospital in San Diego, Calif.

Jolley was born Aug. 24, 1885 in Milton, the son of Alfred and Florece Jolley. he was a long time resident of Milton and had been associated with his father in the hardware business for 40 years before retiring to San Diego in 1949.

He married Jessie E. Dills Apr. 28, 1911 at Milton. She survives. Also surviving is one son, Neal A. Jolley and three grandchildren of Rodondo Beach, Calif.

He was an active member of the University Christian Church at San Diego, serving as treasurer for several years.

Funeral services were held Feb. 1, 1971 at Greenwood Park Mortuary conducted by the Rev. Hartzel Cobbs, pastor of the University Christian Church. Entombment was in Greenwood Mausoleum.
