Harley Johnson Dies At Age of 67

Harley Johnson, 67, of Memphis, passed away June 24, 1972, at Lancaster Rest Home. He was born August 4, 1904, at Eldon, Iowa, a son of William and Laura Butler Johnson.

He was a member of the Christian Church in Memphis, and lived his entire life in Scotland County, Missouri.

Survivors are one sister, Nannie Bechtel of Memphis; two brothers, Bill Johnson of Memphis, and Patrick Johnson of Sioux City, Iowa, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, John and his twin Harry, also two sisters, Louella Harmon and Agnes Johnson.

Funeral services were held in Memphis, Missouri, on Monday, June 26, 1972, at 3 p.m. The Rev. Kenneth Campbell officiated.

Burial was in the Union Cemetery. Body bearers were Jim Northrup, Earl Birk, Ed Benson, Elmer Schupbach, Elmer White, and Herman Girardin.
