ESTELLA HOLLIN

Estella Hollin, 83, died March 9 in Van Buren County Memorial Hospital, Keosauqua.

She was born May 12, 1898, in Van Buren County to Rollin and Clara Bonn Tucker. She graduated from nursing school in 1918 and married Ralph Hollin Feb. 12, 1923. He died July 28, 1977. She was a city librarian, serving on the library board for several years. She was a member of the Top Hat Club and a 50-year member of Federated Women's Club.

Survivors: sister Ellen Turner of Huntsville, Mo.; niece Dr. Mary Louise Turner of Augusta, Ga. (raised on her home), half-brothers Maxwell Tucker of Watertown, S. Dakota and Norval Tucker of Iowa City; and stepbrother Elwood Vance of Farmington.

Funeral services were held Friday, March 12, 1982 at 2 p.m. at the Milton Christian Church with Bruce Hofmann officiating. Burial was in Sunnyside Cemetery.

Priester Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
