PHILLIP F. FULLER

Phillip F. Fuller, 66, of Memphis, Mo., and formerly of Milton died at 2:30 a.m. September 23, 1993, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.

He was born September 3, 1927, in Milton to Claude and Ruth Longacre Fuller. He married Coleen Poole on April 6, 1947, in Memphis.

He was a graduate of Milton High School. He had worked as a livestock buyer in Milton for 27 years and also was a former mayor of Milton. He and his wife moved from Milton to Browning, Mo., where he farmed and was employed as a real estate broker. Five years ago they returned to Memphis. He was a Navy veteran of Russell-Strait Post 483 of American Legion in Milton and Wallace W. Gillispie Post 4958 of Veterans of Foreign Wars in Memphis.

He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Jennifer Fuller of Chico, Calif.; three sons, Jeff of Chaska, Minn., and Jon and Jim of Memphis; eight grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; and a sister, Shirley Moore of Cambridge.

The service was held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, September 25, 1993, at Memphis United Methodist Church, the Rev. Charles Hammack officiating. Military service was by Russell-Strait Post 483 of American Legion in Milton. Burial was in Sunnyside Cemetery in Milton.

Memphis may be made to the Leukemia Society and may be left at the funeral home.
