FRED EBERT

Fred Eldon Ebert passed away at the Davis County Hospital on Monday, April 11 at 8:32 A.M. where he had been a patient since February 13.

He was born on May 26, 1923 to Floyd and Pearl Law Ebert at Nauvoo, Ill.

On April 14, 1945 he married Josephine "Jo" Bollin. They resided in the Nauvoo, Ill. community until they moved to Milton in 1964 where they farmed.

Fred was preceded in death by his parents. Remaining to cherish his memory are his wife, Jo, three sons, Michael of Scottsdale, Ariz.; Daniel of Downing, Mo.; Bradley at home; one daughter, Cynthia Dixon of Lancaster, Mo.; four grandchildren; three brothers, Max of Media, Ill.; Clarence of Blandinsville, Ill.; Floyd of ?iggsville, Ill.; three sisters, Leone Quivey and Clarissa Lanphere of LaHarpe, Ill. and Frieda Smith of New London, Iowa; several other relatives and a multitude of friends.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, April 14, 1977 at the Milton Heritage Church at 2:00 p.m. with Father Omar Woltering of Colfax, Iowa officiating.

A memorial has been established.

The Wellborn Funeral Home of Milton had charge of the services.
