RUBY VIOLA CONE

Ruby Viola Cone, 82, daughter of Elzie and Alice Davis Barton was born November 11, 1899, north of Farmington, Iowa and passed away December 10, 1981, in the Scotland County Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Mo.

In 1914 the family moved to Milton, Iowa.

She was united in marriage to Orin Lee Cone, October 23, 1920, and he preceded her in death November 4, 1971.

Also preceding her in death were her parents one brother, Ralph Barton, and two sisters, Agnes McCulloch and Fern Whitmore.

She is survived by one son, Eugene Cone and wife, Ann, of Milton, Iowa; one daughter, Mary Alyce Martin and husband of Eldon, Mo.; three grandchildren, Pamela Humble, Hamilton, Ill., Richard Cone of Coralville, Iowa, Patricia Cone, Kirksville, Mo., two great-children, Kimberly and Kevin, Hamilton, Ill.; one sister, Mrs. Muriel Pagel of Phoenix, Ariz.

Funeral services were conducted by the Payne Gerth Funeral Home from their Memphis Chapel, Saturday, December 12, 1981, at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Clifford Horton officiated. Burial was in the Milton, Iowa Cemetery.
