Dale Clendenen

Alonzo Dale Clendenen, 86, route 2, Milton, died Sunday, June 2, 1985, at the Good Samaritan Center in Keosauqua.

He was born April 18, 1899 in Davis County to George Warren and Mollie Charity Boggett Clendenen. A retired farmer, he married Elsie Christy on April 3, 1920 in Bloomfield.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Irvin W. (Newt) Clendenen of Milton. He was preceded in death by two grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Milton United Methodist Church, conducted by the Rev. Charles Butler. Burial will be in the Sunnyside Cemetery at Milton.

The casket will be taken to the church at 9 a.m. Wednesday and closed as the service begins.

A memorial has been established to the Milton United Methdodist Church.
