Elsie Tweedy Taken In Death

Elsie Tweedy, 58, of Grimes, died Wednesday in Des Moines General Hospital.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at McLarins Funeral Home in West Des Moines with graveside rites at Evergreen Cemetery of Fairfield at 2:30 p.m.

Mrs. Tweedy is survived by her husband, Joe Tweedy and two children, Terry Tweedy of Urbandale and Kay Tweedy of Cedar Rapids. She is also survived by three grandchildren. Also surviving are one sister, Mrs. Lyle Skaggs of Birmingham and one brother, Roy Hutton of Fairfield.
