Mrs. J.N. Brumley

Angeline May Bell, daughter of Melvina Frazee Bell and George W. Bell, was born May 7, 1867, and passed away at her home July 9, 194(err), at the age of 67 years, two months and two days.

On Christmas day, 1893, she was united in marriage to Newton Brumley who passed away May 10, (1934). Their entire lives were spent in the immediate vicinity except two and one-half years when they lived in Milton.

To them were born four children, two of whom died in infancy. Surviving are a daughter, Mary Jane Brumley, of Washington, D.C., and a son, Ambrose N. Brumley, who resides in the home farm; two grandchildren, Mary Belle and Suzanna, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.N. Brumley; also four sisters, Mrs. Alice Short, of Port Angeles, Wash.; Mrs. Sadie Allen, of Medford, Oregon; Mrs. Jennie Denning, of Los Angeles, Calif.; and Mrs. J.E. Davis, of Milton, Ia. Two brothers, Emory and William, preceded her in death.

She was a member of the Christian church, joining the church when young. She was very loyal to her church and Sunday School and attended whenever possible. She was also a member of the Eastern Star.

Funeral services were held at the Christian church Thursday afternoon at 2:30. The Rev. H.F. Gil . . . made in Sunnyside cemetery.
