BRUMLEY, HANEY

Mrs. Luella Haney Brumley, wife of C.C. Brumley, died at her home in Pulaski, August 19th, her death being caused by a complication of diseases of which she has suffered for several years.

Luella Haney was born in Davis county, Iowa, April 5, 1858, and died at her home in Pulaski on August 19th, 1917, being 59 years, 4 months and 14 days of age.

She was united in marriage with C.C. Bruley in 1876 and to this union eight children were born; Cora A. of Cedar Rapids, Anna M. of Boyd, Mont., Harley L. of Bently, Mich., Clyde C. of Ottumwa, Joseph R. and Edyth G. of Pulaski, Mary A. of Des Moines and Maude L. who preceded her mother in death.

In her girlhood days she united with the Methodist church and has been a faithful worker and true friend thru her whole life. Besides her husband and family she leaves a host of relatives and friends though of others before she thought of herself.

The funeral services were conducted from the Methodist church at 2:30 Tuesday afternoon, Rev. O.J. Fix officiating, using a text selected by the deceased. The scripture lesson and song had also been selected. Interment in the K.P. cemetery.
