Pearl J. Brake

Pearl J. Brake, 71, route 6, Bloomfield, died at the Davis County Hospital at 1:20 a.m. Monday.

She was born in Davis County on June 22, 1909 to Frederick and Mary Morris Moore. She was affiliated with the St. Patrick's Church in Ottumwa.

In March of 1977, she married Orlo Brake. He survives.

Also surviving are one step-daughter, Carolyn Hawthorn of Overland Park, Kan.; one step-son, Dee Brake of Bloomfield; one brother, Virgil Moore of Ottumwa.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Priester Funeral Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Quentin Johnson. The casket will be closed at the beginning of the service. Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery.

Family visitation will br from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Priester Funeral Chapel.

A memorial has been established to the Savannah Christian Church.
