Ethel Bingaman

Ethel Faye Wilson, daughter of James and Mary Ellen Weatherington Wilson was born June 20, 1896 on a farm four and one half miles northeast of Milton where she spent most of her life. Ethel died the evening of Sunday, March 17, 1985 at Van Buren County Memorial Hospital in Keosauqua at the age of 88.

On April 14, 1923 she married Dennis E. Bingaman, to this union one son, Dwight, was born.

She was a school teacher for several years and a member of the Lebanon United Methodist Church and its United Methodist Women.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Dennis, who passed away May 22, 1975, and by her son, Dwight, who passed away May 10, 1981.

She is survived by her granddaughters, Truenea and Ivalue Bingaman, her daughter-in-law, Edith Bingaman, a brother, Craig Wilson and his wife, Ruth, and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 20, 1985 at 1:30 p.m. at the Lebanon United Methodist, with Rev. Chris Daniel officiating. Interment was in Lebanon Cemetery.
