Gladys Bell

Gladys Bell, 87, Bloomfield, died at 9:45 p.m. Monday in the Davis County Hospital.

She was born Aug. 2, 1895 in Terre Haute, Ind. to Milton Frederick and Frances Lovitt Kern. She was a homemaker and a resident of Milton and Bloomfield most of her life. She was a member of the Milton United Methodist Church.

She married Clifford Paxton Bell on Nov. 26, 1913 in Bloomfield. He died April 30, 1954.

Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Marjorie Bell of Chariton, a granddaughter; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held today at the Wagler Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Ellis Andrews. Burial was in the Sunnyside Cemetery at Milton.

A memorial has been established.
