Mrs. Olive Johnston

The funeral service for Mrs. Olive Johnston, 83, who died Wednesday, Feb. 3, were held Friday, Feb. 5 at 2 p.m. at the Lebanon United Methodist Church. Burial was in the Lebanon Cemetery.

The daughter of John and Ada Brewer, she was born April 18, 1887, in Van Buren County near Utica. On Dec. 25, 1907, she married Fern Johnston. He died Jan. 14 of this year. A brother and a sister also preceded her in death.

The Johnstons farmed in the Lebanon, Stockport and Birmingham communities, moving to Libertyville in 1940. She was a member of the Libertyville United Methodist Church and its W.S.C.S.

Survivors are a son, Mark of Libertyville; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Ethel Hissem of Milton, and four brothers, Glenn Brewer of Ogalala, Nebr., Carroll Brewer of Alliance, Nebr., Van Brewer of Minneapolis, and Lester Brewer of Annandale, Minn.
